This was supposed to be mainly news about our novelty/oddity websites, and the novelty industry in general, but then I got way into novelty music and set up Restless Mouse Radio, so now there's links for that, plus I post the ocassional joke, and, well, it winds up like most blogs... a hodgepodge of nonsense.

The Moleskine method
Some can only shake their heads at the fact that I cary a Palm organizer around but only use it for an MP3 player and once in awhile to play a squinty game of Freecell. There's no way I am going to poke away at it with the stylus thing (which I lost several of) just to add my notes or dentist appt., whatever.

No, I carry a Moleskine lined pocket journal. I like to make lists, draw arrows, big dollar signs, if I have an idea I like to make a little light bulb next to it. If I have a note about my night-job I might draw an ogre instead of someone's name. These notebooks open flat, hold up for ages, they have acid-free pages so you don't go on any bad trips. I buy them in case lots but only need a new one about every 4-6 months; hence they are available at some of our websites at a reduced price.
